I have had this problem for over 10 years. For me, the problem begins in Sept and lasts for months. The itching begins at night and I cannot stop scratching. I cannot wear long sleeves in the evening and night, only cap sleeves. I use gold bond extra strength medicated lotion with menthol, for temporary relief. Also, taking two Advil helps the itching.
I've been to two Dermatologists and neither one had an answer. I recently went to an Allergist. He gave me samples of zyrtec. This medicine seems to help.
