I can't believe I have finally found others with this problem. I have been to every sort of physician, and nobody has ever made a diagnosis. They all think it so strange that it starts end of summer, affects only arms, the skin appears fine (until it is bloody from my scratching), does not respond to local or oral antihistimines, and is so intense that it wakes me up and that I describe it as horrible. My itching begins about 9 PM at night, lasts through the night, and is fine during the day.
