I have had had spasm of the lower back three times in the past year. It subsides over a periof of a month. I cannot bend forward or backward, nor twist my back left or right during the spasm. Turning to one side on the bed is also painful. Lying down on the bed, I cannot lift my hips.

The bone spesensoredt says that there is some waring of vertebrae due to age (62 years) and recommended physiotherapy. That has not ended the problem. I am an exercise enthusiast doing some jogging, weights and yoga. With all my fitness training, I am surprised that I have these spasms.
