I too have suffered for the last 15 years with this problem. I noticed the onset around the time I discovered that I have nodules in my thyroid and was wondering if anyone else may have been diagnosed with nodules in the thyroid.
I also thought this might be hormone related as the itching let up when I was taking hormones for another condition.
I've also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and was wondering if it could be related to that which no one seems to know how to treat either.
