Do any of you have Celiac Disease? I have been diagnosed for 8 years now and to my knowledge have never experienced the skin condition part called dermatitis herpeteformis. Celiac disease is a gluten intolerance (gluten is in wheat, rye barley and oats) that can cause many symptoms if not treated. Most people have intestinal issues but there is a skin component too. May be worth looking into for some of you. I am not sure if the symptoms are exactly the same.

I have just recently had the same intense itching on my arms, especially at night. I too, experienced the itching during the last trimester of pregnancy. At that time, my doctor said it was hormonal. I have been guessing maybe it is now too, although I am not pregnant. This has been going on for about a month now and I am scheduled to see a dermatologist. Maybe I can get some answers. I sure hope so. Good luck.
