I really did think that this itching was all in my head until I found this site. I have severe itching only on my left fore arm. I work at a prison and have thought maybe it came from an inmate. I too have tried many things and ice is wonderful. Benadryl Extra Strength Itch Relif Spray helps some. I thought my skin was dry from washing so many times a day. But lotions only seem to make it worse. There is not a rash or bumps or any visible reasons why it itches. It drives me crazy at times trying to ignore it. Hopefully someone can help. My cabinets are full of cortizone's, calamines and any over the counter anti itch medication out there Nothing Works! I hope this is something I have to learn to live with
