I've been experiencing numbness in my outer thigh as well. It primarily occurs at night. If I don't sleep on it, it usually doesn't occur. Also I have experienced numbness in my pinky and ring fingers (left hand). I think I've created never damage. I've had to adjust my sleeping because I was experiencing neck problems. Well after beginning to sleep on my left side (arm), that's when everything began...about three months ago. I'm seeing a doctor today. I think maybe she/he will refer me to a neurologist or a chiropractor. If you haven't been examined, please go see a doctor as soon as possible. This may help prevent any permanent damage.
