Dr - I was pushing a boat off shore with my leg and I must have tweeked something - I've never had cyatic nerve pain before, but I think that is what I have. The pain started in my upper hip and shoots down my right leg. I waited a few minutes and shooting pain went away, but for the last few days it's a dull pain in my right hip and it's stiff in the morning. I'm a triathlete and have taken time off from training because of the injury. I swam this morning and it felt ok and I plan to run tomorrow. What can I do to recover from this? Should I see my Chiro? or should I see a spesensoredt? I usually train 3-4 hours a day and can't take too much time off - How can I recover the quickest? Will this now be an ongoing thing for me? I'm 41 years old, but in great shape and really no injuries before this. Thank you, From Scottsdale AZ
