Are you getting surgical treatment and how large is your curve? I'm 18 and i was diagnosed when i was 15. My curve is about 45 degrees off so bracing can't help me now. You can't tell by looking at me that i have it but the pain is beginning to be unbearable. I was told that it will take one year to completely heal from the surgery, six months before I can really bend over again, and lots of therapy. I guess it all depends on who you are and how bad your condition is.
