Electrical surging sensation in lower abdomen

I am experiencing what I call a surging sensastion in my lower dentral abdomen. The sensation goes away when I stand up, and when I lie on my back, if I prop my right leg up on a pillow which stretches from my lower back to my knee. I've gone to my local chiropractor several times, and he stretches me, then gives me exercises to do, which haven't alleviated the problem. I experienced this about 10 years ago when I was at a job where I sat in a chair all day, and my chiropractor at the time put me up on "blocks" then adjusted my lower spine, and it fixed it! Unfortunately, I've moved to another state and can't afford to fly to him for treatments. Do you have any suggestions for me? This is like Chinese water torture! It's better in the morning, but by nightfall I'm sitting on my ball exclusively, and sometimes that doesn't help. I'm 56 years old, female, and in excellent health otherwise. Thanks!
