Thoracic Pain, Worse Early in Morning

I've had an xray that showed bulging discs in the t-spine about a year ago. The pain is getting worse, with no known trauma. I'm pretty much fine during the day, but once I reach 6 hours of sleep, my mid-back pain is waking me up. I'm mostly a side sleeper. I've just started trying pilates to improve my posture/core strength. I'm more interested in natural remedies as I'm now 6 weeks pregnant. Any pillows/cushions you can recommend for sleeping? Where should they be placed? Thanks! Also, I'm an ER nurse, on my feet a lot, and used to be a paramedic doing lots of bending and lifting, if this helps with history.
