Re: ask a chiropractor

I have been diognosed with arthritis of the lumbar spine with small osteophytes and narrowing of the articular facets at L4 to S1. Mild straightening and minimal levoscoliosis of the lumbar spine consistant with muscle spasms. These symptoms leave me with lower back pain constantly and pains in my thighs as well if I stay on my feet too long. I can't even do my household chores, so how will I go back to my job wich is very physical and I must be able to stand from 5 to 7 hours a night 5 days a week? I am due to have an MRI in a couple of days. I'm being told that there is no reason that I can't go back to work, but I am in substantial pain. The pain specialist that I am seeing has 1 option a epidural shot. I want to exaust all of my options before I consider that. Please give me your advice. I am a 50 year old mother of 3.
