Enormous painful lump at the bottom of my spine.
It's appeared, in the same place (right at the tail bone) several times over the last few years. Sometimes it gets so painful that I can't stand up straight, or sit down properly.
Right now it's large and red, with a bruise all around it. About the size of a golf ball. And when I touch it it hurts, like a pinched nerve or pimple. But it's somewhat squishy, with a hard lumpy center that is lopsided and oblong.
Could this be something serious? Or just a knot? Are there lymph nodes there? Could it possibly be hodgkins disease?
