Shoulder, neck, back, arm pain and/or tingling

About 4 months ago I hurt my right shoulder blade playing tennis. very fit have worked with weights for years. like others in most pain at night while in bed and when driving. why? am i in more pain at those times. will exercising and stretching make it go away.
