Left leg

I have been walking on a treadmill since last May. Over the past month or two, I have noticed that my left leg stiffens while I am walking, I develop a feeling of weakness in my leg, my knee starts aching and the pain radiates downward to the top of my foot. Could this be caused from my hips being out of alignment or possibly a pinched nerve? I also get a mild throbbing sensation in the calf.
