The stenosis has been there for some time, meaning it is a degenerative process. So yes, it was not caused by the accident but the pain you're feeling was and they're libel. You have a weakening of the spine due to the degenerative process and are more susceptible to a more permanent injury when injured. Go to a chiropractor and have the doctor fully document your injury in case you take legal action down the road. Very important you do this. Get an attorney. Don't let insurance companies take advantage of you. They already have, don't let it go any further.
