Cracked Sternum and Pectoral Developement

I was doing dips when I just started working out about three years ago and there was an audible crack/pop sound one time. My sternum hurt pretty bad, but the pain went away in a few weeks. Fast forward to present day, I am noticing that my pecs have developed unevenly. Could this be caused by what happened when my sternum cracked? If so, is it too late to fix?

P.S. I always try my best to maintain good form when working out.
