Neck adjustments to relieve back pain

Hi. I've been going to a chiropractor for 5 days in a row now. I have bad lower back pain along with butt and hip pain. All they want to do is put me on a roller back, adjust my neck and pull on my spine. They're not even touching my back and I feel no relief at all. I don't have insurance so I'm paying per visit and I feel like I might be getting screwed. Does this make sense to adjust my neck to help my back???

Helps strengthen the kneecap mechanism by applying pressure on the tendon above the kneecap as well. This tends to reduce the forces of the quadriceps on the patella tendon and erosion of the under surface of the kneecap due to a possible misalignment of the quadriceps (Q-angle).
