Upper neck region is curved

In 2011 I went and saw a chiropractor for my neck pain. I know I sleep awkwardly on my neck (sleeping in a laying position on my stomach) I was told that my neck, above my shoulders, and just below my ears that my spine had a significant curve that was pushing out to the right of my neck. Recently my right leg seems to be much heavier when I run upstairs at fast pace. By heavy I mean noticeable enough to make a mental note about it. I question its strain because I think that maybe it can affect my training for loosing weight. That being said if it doesn't affect this what can it affect? Should I consider seeing another Chiropractor and get it x rayed..?
