neck adjustment

a little over a week ago i went to the chiropractor due to having a bad lower back to see if he could help me with anything. he then sent me to get more xrays taken to make sure he could help. he took a full full skeletal xrays of me and found the problem with me lower back, he also mentioned i have a problem with my neck i didnt even know about and said he could fix that as well. so last week were my first adjustments my lower back was fine but since his neck adjustments i have had a almost constant headache. its been 7 days now and i still have them. is this normal for this to happen when getting your neck adjusted for the first time? any recommendations or advice? neadless to say i have stopped going.
