Massage or Adjustment?

My boyfriend is getting ready to leave for Afghanistan and has constant back pain... He's never been adjusted and never had any injury that I'm aware of.. I was debating on getting him an adjustment or a massage.. Since he is leaving in the beginning of March he can not go to the chiropractor on a regular basis to fix and continue to fix the problem... But he can get a massage for short term relief.. If it'll help more to get adjusted then that's what I will do.. If you think it's better for at least short term to get a massage then that's what I will do.. Thank you.

Silicone inserts leave the epicondyle pressure-free and provide an intermittent compression to the soft tissue of the joint, leading to increased circulation, thus aiding in the resorption of swelling and edema.
