Head Clicks

Well i went to a chiropractor a few months back and he diagnosed me with just incredibly tense neck and shoulders. This caused and still causes bad tension headaches. When he did the whole moving of the neck and then CRACK i felt it click in not only my neck but up the back of my head, but now i have a slight worry.
Sometimes when i move my neck random parts of my head click, sometimes near the forehead, sometimes towards the middle of the head etc. This also happens if i tense my muscles of the neck i get a crunching feeling and a crack sound (or a sound resembling a zip being opened). I'm kinda freaked out as this can't be my skull clicking and popping as there are no gaps? can muscle or tendons crack and move? really want to find out what is causing this
