About six months ago I was diagnosed with 2 cervical disk herniations within both the c4/c5 and c6/c7 after an MRI was performed. Instead of surgery I have been going to a chiropractor who has the DRX 9000 Cervical Spinal Decompression machine. The machine has been great but it is very expensive.I can sleep now and the pain does not radiate down my right arm; however, I can not jog nor can I walk for extended periods of time. I am only 36 years old and I am wondering how long I need to keep using the decompression machine?
Are their any medications/supplements that can speed up the healing process? Do I need to increase the number of times I use the decompression machine?
I believe I hurt myself by lifting weights incorrectly. I would like for these herniations to heal so at least I can start being active again.
