scoliosis brace

I have had scoliosis since I was 14, where I was instructed to wear a brace at night. Upset at the time I refused to wear the brace. My curve was at 32 degrees last I had gotten an xray. MY question is, If I start wearing the brace now(currently I am 19 years old) during free hours, do you think it may help my curve?

Helps strengthen the kneecap mechanism by applying pressure on the tendon above the kneecap as well. This tends to reduce the forces of the quadriceps on the patella tendon and erosion of the under surface of the kneecap due to a possible misalignment of the quadriceps (Q-angle).
