Dear Sam,

Degeneration of L5/S1 can and likely is the cause of your pain. Yes it could be due to the car crash. Keep in mind that the degeneration is a result of a structural joint problem. Correct the spinal problem with chiropractic care and you might be able to halt the degeneration minimize your pain.
