Middle Ear Myoclonus

Please help. I have been dealing with what seems to be a muscle twitch in my right ear for the past two months. Although there is no pain, I hear a "clicking" sound as a result of certain external sounds. This condition, although rare, is diagnosed "middle ear myoclonus". After doing research I read it can be related to neck problems and I was inquiring whether you have heard of this disorder or have possibly treated any patients with middle ear myoclonus. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
