Neck pain - Spine or Tissue?

I fell a couple of weeks ago and had a concussion. Since, I have been getting a growing pain in my neck.

The pain is not there when touching my ear to my shoulder on either side. The pain is definitely there when turning my chin toward either shoulder. The pain is substantial.

So what I am trying to discern is if this is tendon or muscle strain, or if it is spinal.
