pinched nerves

I have low BP which has caused me to pass out on numerous occasions, when doing so I ALWAYS seem to fall like a tree straight backwards, this has been going on for approximently 15 yrs. With the least bit of exhaustion, stress, i seem to always get a pinched nerve across my shoulder blade, which runs down my back and makes my one leg numb and tingly. This usually last for 3 weeks, comes and goes. I have tempted going to a chiropractor but have not yet, my question, do you think this could be a result of the falling? Suggestions?
