Re: lower back pain while laying down

My back feels fine when I am standing or sitting.
And when I lay down it feels fine. After about 4-5 hours, my lower back starts hurting, waking me up. Then it continues and hurts until I get up. And then my back is o.k. I dread sleeping more than 4 hours as the pain sets in. There is
no relief. Why does laying on my back, or even on my side cause such pain?

Anyone have any ideas?
Yours, jprahar@verizon.net
